SUSAN HOOD
Friday, June 3

June 3 will see the 61st consecutive running of the Susan Hood Trophy Race presented by driveHG.ca.  Named after the then new daughter of race founder,
Doug Hood, the race is the first of the season's long distance races and, due to normally cool seasonal temperatures, is quite appropriately known as the  'coolest race on the lake'.

An overnight race, the Susan Hood Trophy Race is a great warm-up for the Lake Ontario 300 presented by driveHG.ca held in July.  The Susan Hood start at 1945 Friday night, with the 74 nautical mile course going from Port Credit to Burlington,
then Niagara and finally back to Port Credit, finishing just off the Port Credit Yacht Club.

As well as a pre-race barbecue being offered at PCYC, a post race hot dog will be supplied by Sperry to help restore your energy.
